Hi Bobby. I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, and Volunteer Moderator, here to help you.

Try resetting Xbox at Settings > Apps > Apps & Features > Xbox Live > Advanced Options > Repair and Reset. Restart PC, test again.

If that fails try re-register the app from Option Two here: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/3175-apps-re...

If that fails try reinstalling the App from Settings location above, restart PC, then reinstall from MS Store app Settings > My Library.

Hey Greg. Tried all of the above and it still won't let me sign in. I can't play my game pass games because it won't sign me in.

Bobby, are you signing into Windows 10 with the same MS Account? If not let's try this:

Go into Settings > Accounts > Your Info and click the link to Sign in with a Microsoft Account Instead.

Restart PC, it should sign you into all WIndows 10 apps when you sign in with the newly converted MS Account.

Report back results in detail so I know what to try next if necessary.

Having a similar issue. Only difference is that I cannot even click the Sign In button. Restarted my PC and the app worked for all of a few minutes, but I couldn't accept party invites. Then the app signed me out all over again.

Also having a similar issue. Can't log into the XBOX Companion app, gives an error that it can't find a file. Then on the XBOX app when I click Sing In, the dialog in the screenshot flashes up 3 or 4 times, but doesn't sign me in. Was wanting to use either app to try and stream from my xbox. Ironically I can stream on the updated XBOX iOS app.

Same I click sign in and literally nothing happens EVER. Repaired and reset and nothing. Your stupid M$ update bricked the app congrats.

Their update screwed it all up. I just did update this morning to win 10 and now it don't work. Even though I used it before the update. Also to be clear its screwing up the gaming sign in, its signed in the store account.

Yes, same exact issue.... funny how the Xbox companion app works better than this one....way to go Microsoft.
